BLACK FRIDAY IS APPROACHING!!

As we approach 25th November, it is exciting to note that it is another time of huge and fantastic sales period for online sellers. If you must know, the date is the last Friday in the month of November and usually referred to as ''black Friday'' in the ecommerce industry. Although in Nigeria, Jumia still retains that name as it is popularly known however their big time rival Konga coined it as ''yakata sales''.

Irrespective of what that day is called, the activities that occur in the online market is usually buzzy.
Just like a market day in physical environment like famous aswani at super b/stop, online shoppers are always scooping through collections of items in various online stores to get the best deal/discounts on their choice of items. More so, huge discounts are placed on some popular gadgets and even fashion items to get the shoppers hooked and tend to buy more than they already anticipated.

As a matter of fact, the practice of black Friday or Yakata sales as it is known in Nigeria here, depending on the online store (Jumia or Konga) that you shop from, the sales recorded and figures raked in are mouth watering and will prove to you that ecommerce has come to stay in Nigeria and Africa as a whole.

Although recession is kicking the economy from behind but do not be surprised that at the same time, the world is evolving and lots of products that meet people’s needs are being manufactured and will be offered for a discounted price and people will buy, except if they prefer to go to their offices naked or walk with bare feet. Remember we are entering the months of merriment and I trust my country.
Hence my suggestion, if you are not selling online now or still thinking of a business to earn a passive income from. It will do you some good to start selling online immediately as there are lots of products to sell and if you have the right market, you will be amazed to how progressively your profit will grow.

To register as a seller or Jumia and/or Konga, simply log on to their respective websites, scroll to the bottom page and click sell on Jumia. It is likewise for Konga.

Get prepared for the biggest online sales period of the year!
